Arizona Senate Bill 1162
Arizona Senate Bill 1162 was signed into law by Governor Ducey. SB1162 amended section 32-3248-1, exempting individuals with chronic pain from dose limitations on opioid-based pain medications. We are proud to have been a part of this process and would like to thank Barby Ingle from the iPain Foundation for her leadership in this effort.

Participated in the Disabled not Defeated Campaign with coalition partner Adrenal Alternatives.
Free2Care Campaign
Joined Free2Care's campaign to gather public comment for the Department of Health and Human Services proposed rule change on the Safe Harbor that allows GPOs to conduct business with kickbacks.
Project Purple Campaign
Collaborated with Teen Pain Connect from Bangkok Thailand on Project Purple; raising awareness for teenagers who are affected by/suffering from chronic pain.
Joint Campaign with Adrenal Alternatives
Partnered with Adrenal Alternatives on a joint campaign to advocate for disabled patients to have a right to have a caregiver present with them during medical events during the COVID pandemic.
Email to Lawmakers in all 50 States
Facilitated a Call to Action, emailing lawmakers across all 50 states to share our concerns regarding unqualified individuals with personal bias and agendas who are advising our lawmakers on healthcare policy and public health changes. Our members sent emails to every single lawmaker in their home state along with a copy of the recent publication, Damaging State Legislation Regarding Opioids: The Need To Scrutinize Sources Of Inaccurate Information Provided To Lawmakers which outlines this very issue.
